This year we celebrated the annual tradition of the St. Anne's feast. There was a
salmon supper and local festival activities. We were proud to be a part of this
annual tradition.
February 22, 2002 to March 8, 2003 - Canada Winter Games.
CFIC Radio was present during the opening of the 2003 Canada Winter games in
Bathurst. We also attended many of the events and broadcasting the
results of the events as well. This was a very historic event that
we are honoured to have had the opportunity to participate in.
December 25, 2002 - Christmas Radio Jamboree.
This year we celebrated Christmas by having our yearly Christmas Radio Jamboree.
We played many requests and we also had live performers in our studio helping to
celebrate the Christmas season.
November 18, 2002 - CFIC 105.1 FM IS BROADCASTING LIVE ON THE INTERNET.
CFIC 105.1 FM is now broadcasting live on the Internet. We had our official
Grand Opening with a special ribbon cutting ceremony. The new service is
dedicated to our Youth and our Elders. Now people all over the world can
listen to great Traditional Country and Native American music 24 hours a day,
seven days a week.
November 9, 2002 - CFIC 105.1 FM is Broadcasting live from a local Furniture in
Campbellton, New Brunswick on Saturday, November 9th.
CFIC 105.1 FM will be broadcasting live from a local Furniture Store in Campbellton,
New Brunswick on Saturday, November 9th. We will be starting our live broadcast
at 12 PM and finishing at 4 PM. We will be drawing for CFIC 105.1 FM T-shirts
every hour.
November 8, 2002 - CFIC 105.1 FM in Listuguj, Quebec now on the Internet.
The new CFIC 105.1 FM web site is now up and running and will be able to provide
entertainment, news and information to the local community 24 hours of the day,
seven days a week. Stay tuned for the launch of our Internet Radio Station
starting on November 18, 2002
